As they expand their reach into new sectors, they’re seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping their project management practices.
Job Purpose:
As the IT Project Manager, you’ll lead and coordinate both internal and external technology projects, ensuring they’re delivered within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards. You’ll be at the forefront of managing project risks and changes, meticulously documenting and communicating alterations to stakeholders to ensure minimal impact on project outcomes.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Technical Project Leadership: Effectively lead projects by allocating and executing various work streams, utilising our technical team to their fullest potential.
- Coordination and Oversight: Ensure seamless coordination of customer updates, work plan design, scheduling, time entry, and budget management in line with company processes.
- Initiation and Documentation: Oversee the initiation of all projects and project phases, maintaining meticulous documentation and tracking of project issues and risks.
- Timely Delivery: Guarantee timely and budget-compliant project delivery, collaborating closely with the senior management team to promptly escalate any issues or requests.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior management and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing projects within a Managed Service Provider environment.
- Proven track record of at least 2 years in an IT Project Manager role.
- -Familiarity with industry-standard project management methodologies and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be advantageous.
