Job Description CS Security Engineering Anti-Malware – Job Description 

Level:                          Security Engineering and Consultation

Location:                  London/Nottingham

Working Hours:      UK hours & part of AMERS

Duration:                 6-12 months contract 

Required Skills 

  • Design and engineering of CoS endpoint protection tools to enable the deployment, configuration, and on-going lifecycle management
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge how things are done, create, drive forward and advocate for new processes and business change where necessary
  • Strong working experience in engineering roles for managing the endpoint security protection suite of products
  • Strong working experience in the Antimalware products (McAfee is desirable).
  • Good working knowledge on Windows and/or Linux OS platform, with both desirable
  • Good knowledge of EDR products
  • Good knowledge of network concepts and TCP/IP suite
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework 

Responsibilities:  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

  • Technical lead & Senior on the Configuration, management, and maintenance of McAfee suite of products
  • Deciding on approach required to manage the lifecycle of the product and delivering that mechanism
  • Responsible for Antimalware Technical consultation. Will heavily be engaged in meetings with various BU application/support/project teams to assist with the technical challenges
  • Collaborating with BU development engineers & other technology teams to understand the technical challenges with the McAfee ENS & agent qualifications and resolving them to ensure the ENS & agent rollout progress on to production environments
  • Consultations for escalated issues from the Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
  • Design documentation and representing the project in change and design forums
  • Documentation and Reporting
