People and PerSec Administrator

Our client are a dynamic and forward-thinking company who are lookingfor a highly motivated individual to join their team as a People and PerSec Administrator. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our People and Vetting departments, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
– Continuously improve People and Performance documentation, ensuring compliance with employment law.
– Assist in audit and accreditation evidence, both internal and external.
– Support the Head of Culture in designing and managing the Internal Communication Strategy.
– Coordinate Training and Development Programmes, including building relationships with training providers and organising training sessions.
– Own the full recruitment process, ensuring alignment with values and providing full induction to new employees.
– Support Vetting programme by on boarding direct employees, contractors, and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
– Organise company events and activities under the direction of the PLC Director.
– Continuously review work benefits and manage staff turnover.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
– Strong organisational and administration skills, including diary management and office management.
– Experience handling highly confidential information.
– Ability to build rapport quickly and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
– Desire to learn and grow within the role.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience in People-focused roles is desirable.
– Ability to achieve SC clearance.
– Own use of a vehicle for transport across all sites as required.
