Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a major transformation project? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their Project Management team and drive the successful implementation of a ground-breaking in-house developed system. This system will revolutionize the way they manage data, processes, and workflows, optimizing productivity, reducing costs, and automating manual tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Project Manager, you will take charge of managing the entire project, including software development, infrastructure build, and organizational process improvement. Your primary focus will be supporting a team of technical architects and agile software developers, from capturing requirements to software release management. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of the product roadmap to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will manage other infrastructure and process improvement elements, as well as non-IT and customer impacting projects.

Your Duties Will Include:

Provide project management support to technical architects and agile software developers.

Track the development lifecycle, defining requirements, and managing software release.

Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and requirements.

Develop a detailed project schedule and regularly report progress to stakeholders.

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.

Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to measure project performance.

Prepare status reports and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Facilitate meetings, track actions, decisions, risks, and dependencies.

Maintain RAIDs logs and track project budgets.

Ensure resource availability and allocation for the project.

Provide project management support for other IT and non-IT projects as needed.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of Cloud hosted environments and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Proven experience in managing both software/agile and waterfall projects.

Excellent Project Management, organizational, and planning skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with rigorous attention to detail.

Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to non-technical and senior leadership teams.

Strong process capture, review, and improvement capabilities.

Ability to engage with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and senior-level stakeholders.

Self-motivated, outcome-focused individual accustomed to working autonomously and in ambiguous environments.

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of project management experience in the software or IT sector.

Project Management accreditations (e.g., APM, PMI).

Familiarity with best-of-breed software development toolsets and best practices.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project scheduling software/tools.

Advantageous Skills:

Understanding of working within Transformation, Datacentres, Energy Management and Building Management Systems.

Experience working for a small to medium-sized software company (100-200 people).

Driving/ID Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and passport.
